1st anchorage & 1st Crew Mate

We are so lucky to have had my dad here helping us finalize everything we needed to do to actually shove off the dock. Our 1st day we headed south from Cocoa Beach down the ICW to our 1st anchorage near Sebastian where my sister lives. The plan was to get dad to land Sunday night but after one failed attempt at anchoring, scrambling to find another spot with the sun setting and getting the dinghy down just to discover we couldn’t start it… he ended up having to spend the night on the boat.

We were able to get the dingy started the next morning and successfully dropped him off somewhere near Sebastian. He might still be sitting there for all I know.
